PVC Panel Goods Policy & Guarantee
Effective from: 10/01/2020
1. Product Description
All our own-branded PVC panels supplied by Wetpanel Warehouse are sourced from trusted manufacturers, primarily in China, and are inspected before dispatch. Due to manufacturing and international shipping, minor cosmetic variations may occur. These do not affect performance and are not considered faults.
2. Faulty or Damaged Goods
- Customers must inspect goods upon delivery.
- Any damage or fault must be reported within 3 days of receipt, including clear photos and a description of the issue.
- We may request the return of faulty goods for inspection before issuing a replacement.
- If confirmed faulty, a like-for-like replacement panel will be supplied.
3. Returns (Non-Faulty Goods)
- Returns accepted within 3 days of receipt. A credit note will be issued, provided items are:
- Unused
- Undamaged
- In original packaging or securely repacked for return
- Return postage is the customer's responsibility.
- A 10% restocking fee may apply.
- Non-stocked and special-order items are non-returnable.
4. Colour & Batch Variations
- Panels may vary slightly in colour or finish between batches.
- We recommend ordering your full required quantity in one go to avoid mismatch.
- We are not liable for over- or under-ordering.
- Returns for minor colour variation between batches will not be accepted.
5. Installation Responsibility
- The buyer must confirm product suitability before fitting.
- We accept no liability for removal or reinstallation costs, even if faults are found post-installation.
- Prior to installation, the following must be checked and approved by the customer:
- Colour matching
- Sheen levels across panels and trims
- Note: Fitting the panels constitutes acceptance that they are in good condition.
6. 12-Month Product Guarantee
Covers Wetpanel Warehouse branded PVC panels for:
- Manufacturing defects
- Material faults
- Delamination or failure under normal domestic use
- Cracking, warping, or splitting (not caused by incorrect fitting)
- Fading or surface defects under standard indoor conditions
Not Covered:
- Physical damage: cracks, cuts, or scratches caused by hard/sharp objects
- Wear and tear (e.g., friction marks, surface aging)
- Use of inappropriate cleaning agents (e.g. bleach)
- Incorrect storage (e.g. damp or extreme heat)
- Cosmetic blemishes not affecting function
- Differences in gloss seen only under certain lighting
- Claims made after 12 months
7. Panels from Third Parties
This guarantee only applies to Wetpanel Warehouse branded products.
Panels from third-party brands are covered under their own manufacturer’s terms.
8. How to Claim
- Email: sales@wetpanel.com with:
- Proof of purchase
- Photos
- Description of the issue
- Return of goods may be requested.
- If confirmed faulty, a like-for-like replacement will be issued.
- Labour or reinstallation costs are not covered.
9. Liability
- Our total liability is limited to the value of goods supplied.
- We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including fitting or labour.
- This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
- The warranty period does not extend following repair or replacement.
